Provides coverage to children and pregnant women. Healthy Start covers children from birth through age 18, in families with income at or below the 200% Federal Poverty Guideline. Children in families with income between 150% and 200% of FPG must be uninsured in order to get Healthy Start. Pregnant women with family income up to 150% of FPG are also covered by the program.
