MEET SE'RAH
Thirteen year old Se’rah will tell you that some of her favorite activities are swimming and riding her bike. You’ll also find that Se’rah really enjoys horseback riding and getting pampered by having her hair done. Se’rah’s favorite color is purple and she loves eating sweets. Se’rah can be a great helper around the house and often likes to help with cooking. Se’rah is outgoing and makes friends easily. Se’rah really shines and does her best when she receives the time and attention she needs to stay on task. Se’rah is also described by her teachers as being a hard worker, especially on developing her math and reading skills.The experiences Se’rah has had make it difficult for her to always be on her best behavior. Like all kids, Se’rah needs her permanent family to support and guide her through the tough stuff. Se’rah also has a twin brother who lives with another family.It is very important to Se’rah that her permanent family is willing to let her talk to and see her brother.

MEET CORRINE
Fifteen year old Corrine can be a very charming young lady. A bright child who is curious, inquisitive, creative, and polite, Corrine has many interests including photography, drawing, writing and horseback riding. Corrine loves writing poems incorporating her own words as well as the words of famous poets.
Corrine has been through a lot during her lifetime. She participates in therapy to address her history of abuse, neglect, loss and mental health issues. Corrine currently takes medication to assist with mental health issues.
Academically, Corrine is on target and does very well in school. Corrine sometimes needs help making friends.
Corrine’s forever family should be consistent, structured, and expectations need to be clear. The family must be motivated to guide and encourage Corrine to express herself in a positive way and work through her behavioral challenges. Corrine would blossom with a family who could support her in building good social skills and boundaries. Corrine’s family will need to be supportive as Corrine works through issues with her past and as she set goals for her future.
