Adult protective services are provided to the elderly and disabled adults who are in danger of harm, unable to protect themselves, and have no one else to assist them. Huron County Department of Job & Family Services is mandated to investigate and evaluate all reports of suspected abuse, neglect or exploitation of adults age 60 and over.
